In Upland Zip Code 91784, where the huge Upland Colonies project is located, median home prices slipped $14,000 to $425,000 in December 2009, compared to $439,000 in December 2008 – and far below the median price of $603,000 in January 2008.

Homes in the desirable established neighborhoods of Claremont generally maintained their value in the two-year period, starting with a median home price of $520,000 in January 2008, dropping to $438,000 in September 2008, and peaking at $570,000 in February, 2009. The median Claremont home price in December 2009 was $496,000.
